I’ve been focusing on the highs and lows of the Chiefs passing game the entire season, and at this point, the Chiefs are now starting the playoffs. Hosting the Miami Dolphins for the second time this season but the first time in Kansas City. The Chiefs found a way to win against the Dolphins even with Mahomes struggling much of the day against Miami. On the day, Mahomes threw for only 6.2 yards per attempt, which wasn’t his worst game of the season. That would come two weeks later against the Eagles, where he averaged only 4.1 yards per attempt. Kansas City has found ways to be in games they shouldn’t and lost games they had no business losing, and Mahomes has been both a positive and a negative in those instances.
