I won’t say that they couldn’t move the ball up and down the field because, at times, they were. However, mistakes continue to keep them from getting losses, and this week is no different in that respect. Two turnovers, one early and one late, with the penalties, kept the Chiefs from winning a game they should have won.

Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes had one of his better games statistically against the Bills on Sunday. While throwing for nearly 60% isn’t great, getting closer to 300 yards on the day was something he hasn’t been doing recently. With Pacheco out, the Chiefs had to rely a little more on the passing game, and until late in the game, they were doing well on third down. Heading into the fourth quarter, Mahomes had been five for six on the day on third down, putting the Chiefs in a prime position to win the game.
