When the Chiefs drafted Patrick Mahomes in 2017 they had to trade up from 27 all the way to number 10 with the Buffalo Bills to get him. They traded their first in 2017 and 2018 and a third in 2017 to move up 17 spots to take him. It’s been a deal that’s been well worth it for the Chiefs and after winning the Superbowl and being the Superbowl MVP in 2019 Mahomes signed a massive extension.
