Players to Watch - Week 2 - Preseason
Here are the players I'll be watching in this weeks preseason game
One of the reasons I love this time of year is because you get to see all the players that are trying to make the team. I’ve talked about this a lot over the years and in most years there are already around 45 guys that are probably locks to make the roster each season. What you never know headed into OTA’s, minicamp, training camp and preseason games is what players will step up in a fight to make the roster.
Let’s take a look at 6 guys that are bubble players right now trying to make the roster.
Geron Christian & Roderick Johnson
Christian is a player I thought would be a lock to make the roster when he came to KC as the Chiefs need a swing tackle and Niang is still out with injury. At this point I think it could be be between him and Johnson for one spot. I can’t see them keeping both because I think they are keeping Kinnard regardless of if he is outplayed or not.
