Introduction to Chiefs Corner

Welcome to Chiefs Corner! Thank you for reading and welcome to what is going to become a website full of Chiefs stories, stats, cap and analytics in the future. If you have never read any of my work here is a little information about me and where I have come from.

I started writing about the Chiefs about 9 years ago and I’ve written several different places. Pro Football Spot is where I really got my start and then I contributed at Arrowhead Addict up until about 6 years ago. I started a podcast with one of my friends that I met from Pro Football Spot and for the past 5 seasons we have hosted the Locked on Chiefs podcast on the Locked On podcast network.

I’ve enjoyed podcasting but I’ve always missed writing so here I am starting this page and expanding on what I’ve done over the past 6 years. I have many things I’ve got planned for this website and it will be a work in process for the first couple of weeks as I get up and going.

Planning on having the first real article drop shortly after the game today and it will focus on Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Generally speaking we will get more into the salary cap closer to the start of the new season and when new signings make it relevant. For now I won’t be diving into the cap until after the Chiefs season is over.

Statistics and analytics will also be a focus of my writing in the future. And I have several different ideas of how to integrate different things into in season coverage but that will have to wait until next season.

I’m really looking forward to taking this next step and getting back to my roots to talk Chiefs football!
