Defensive - 1st Qtr - 12:24 left - 1st & 10 at Chiefs 29 - No Score
Turnovers, by definition, are likely going to be turning points. In this case, it was a huge turnover as the 49ers were owning the Chiefs' defense so far in the game, averaging 11 yards a play before the fumble. McCaffrey’s fumble cost the 49ers easily a field goal, but the way their offense was running, it was likely a touchdown drive.
Offensive - 2nd Qtr - 12:09 left - 1st & Goal at 49ers 9 - 49ers 3 - 0
For the first two drives of the night, the Chiefs averaged 8 yards a drive. After a huge play to Hardman that went for 52 yards, the Chiefs have first and goal just inside the 49ers 10. Unfortunately, Pacheco coughed up the ball and took points off the board for the Chiefs. This play also led to Kelce yelling and bumping Reid on the sideline.
