Chiefs Turning Points - Dolphins Win
The Chiefs looked much better on offense than they have in weeks in route to a big win!
This team has been up and down all year on offense, but Saturday night’s game was way up from what we’ve seen lately. The Chiefs' offense still has work to do, but it showed the ability to move the ball and get points throughout the night. There will be issues they have to address in the offseason, and if they do, they can be right back as one of the best offenses in the league in scoring.
Defensive - 1st Qtr - 3:11 left - 3rd & 5 from Miami 40 - Chiefs 7 - 0
This play started as a 3rd and inches, but the Dolphins got penalized for illegal formation to make it 3rd and five. Watching right before the ball is snapped, you can see Reid go and talk to the sideline official about the lineup, and he is the one who throws the flag. Tua ended up with the interception to Edwards on the play because he had to get the ball over the hands of Charles Omenihu, who had walked the left guard back into his lap. The turnover led to the Chiefs kicking a field goal and taking the lead, which they would never give back.
