I will start looking at at least three plays each week that are turning points in the game for the Chiefs, win or lose. These plays will not include penalties for or against the Chiefs because they are out of the team’s control. We will look at plays that lead to either potential points lost or points scored on them.

Offensive -1st Qtr - 2:09 left - 1st & Goal from the 5 - 7-0 Green Bay

To this point, the Chiefs had easily driven down the field, even overcoming a questionable offensive pass interference against Travis Kelce. Straight off the snap, Van Ness beat Morris off the corner. Van Ness collects a sack for a nine-yard loss on Mahomes, and two plays later, after another sack, the Chiefs are kicking a field goal. Based on Pacheco's route coming out of the backfield, it appears he was supposed to chip the edge rusher to help Morris early on, regardless of what started as a promising drive turning into a field goal and four missed points.
