Chiefs Trade Joe Thuney To Chicago!
The Chiefs have made a move after tagging Trey Smith, this will free up significant cap space!
The Kansas City Chiefs' offensive line remake is starting this offseason. After extending Creed Humphrey last year, the Chiefs are working on extending Trey Smith this year. With both of those happening and Jawaan Taylor still under contract for the next two years, the Chiefs were forced to make another move.
All-Pro left guard Joe Thuney heads to Chicago for a 2026 4th-round pick. While this isn’t a shock, it is somewhat surprising. I didn’t think they’d move on from their team MVP in 2025. There is less than a week away before free agency kicks off, and there will be plenty of moves to make.
