Over the next month, I’ll review the Chiefs’ salary cap for each roster position. Overall, this is one of the Chiefs' cheaper positional groups, which is interesting because it is also one of the most premium positions in the NFL.

Karlaftis is heading into his third season and only has one more year on his current contract. However, there’s almost no way the Chiefs won’t pick up his fifth-year option after this year. His cap numbers for the next two seasons will be $3.255 and $3.798 million.
