Chris Jones
This offseason, Chris Jones finally signed a new deal. He signed a five-year $158.75 million deal, making him the highest-paid DT in the NFL. It breaks down salary-wise: $1.25, $13.75, $19, $28.25, and $35 million salaries from 2024 to 2028. He received a
$30 million signing bonus will be split at $6 million a season over the deal's life. He will have $100K in workout bonuses each year, a roster bonus of $15 million in 2025, and another $16 million in 2026. The roster bonuses will likely create salary cap space each year.
Jones has $60 million guaranteed at signing and effectively $95 million guaranteed as his 2026 compensation becomes guaranteed if he is on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2025 league year. His cap hits for the next five years are $7.35, $34.85, $41.1, $34.35, and $41.1 million, respectively.
