Chiefs Safety Position is Getting an Overhaul
The Chiefs have been revamping a position that they have spent a lot of money on in the past couple of seasons
The Chiefs chose not to resign the leader of the defense in Tyrann Mathieu and let Daniel Sorenson walk as well. This position is getting younger and there are still a couple of questions as to who will be on the roster when the season starts.

After the Chiefs decided not to offer a contract to the honey badger they went and signed a young safety that Tyrann mentored in Houston. Reid comes to the Chiefs after a four-year stint with the Houston Texans where he was the 68th overall pick taken in the 2018 draft. Reid has some large shoes to fill with the loss of Mathieu but the Chiefs are hoping he can regain his play from a few years ago.
