Patrick played brilliantly the entire postseason run and was incredible when the pressure mounted each game. From playing against the Dolphins in the bitter cold, going on the road in back-to-back weeks against the Bills and the Ravens, and taking out the narrative that he’s never won on the road in the playoffs. Then, to head back to the Super Bowl, perform under the brightest lights, and lead the Chiefs to another championship is truly special.

Dolphins

In a game where the expectation was the Chiefs were going to run the ball more to deal with the weather, Reid and Mahomes showed that wasn’t the case. Patrick came out throwing the ball and ended the day with 262 yards and a TD. While those aren’t gaudy stats and well below what Mahomes is used to, his ability to make plays when needed was evident in the frigid cold. He went 50% on the day on third downs and converted all the completions for first downs, keeping drives moving.
