Chiefs Offense Lights a Fire Against Bills
The Chiefs offense played phenomenal most of the night willing 27-24
This Chief's offense continues to improve as the playoffs roll on, and Mahomes appears to be taking his game to another level again. With the win against the Bills, the Chiefs ripped the heart out of the Bills mafia, and Josh Allen continues to lose to Mahomes in the playoffs. This team should scare the remaining teams because if they can continue to hit shots downfield as they did against the Bills, the offense opens way up.
Game Balls
Patrick Mahomes
While 215 yards and 2 TDs are more pedestrian for Mahomes than what we are used to, his efficiency on the night was borderline absurd. Throwing for 9.35 yards per attempt is a stark improvement over what he has shown this season. He continues to show why he is the best player in the NFL, and his willingness to just take what he is being given, even if it means a throwaway, is huge for this offense!
Isiah Pacheco
In a game where the Chiefs' offense couldn’t be stopped, Pacheco continued to show why he’s underrated as a runner. Averaging 6.5 yards per carry as a RB isn’t supposed to happen in most games, let alone the playoffs. His running style is brutal for this time of year and opposing defenses. How he played on the night made the Hardman run even more infuriating.
Travis Kelce
Kelce continues to show he still can be a weapon for the Chiefs. After not scoring a touchdown in seven straight games, he scored two against the Bills. His connection with Mahomes is one of the best the NFL has ever seen, and they both make it look easy. He looks to be getting better as the year goes on, and that’s a problem for defenses.
