Chiefs Mock Draft Monday
Let's take a look at how the draft could play out for the Chiefs in a little over a week!
It’s the time of year to start looking at a couple of mocks a week and seeing what could happen when the draft begins on April 25th. The Chiefs are sitting at the last pick of every round and don’t have a lot of extra ammunition to make moves. They will likely need to draft a wide receiver and a left tackle to solidify their offense. Let’s examine what we can get done in this draft. For this draft, I will let the cards fall where they may and draft where the Chiefs pick, which, given Veach’s history, is unlikely.
First-Round - Pick 32 - Brian Thomas, Jr. - Wide Receiver - LSU
The Chiefs get a talented wide receiver to add to their offensive weapons. Thomas’ size and 4.33 speed will add to the passing attack. He will need a little work on his route running and physicality against elite competition, but he adds a young X-type wide receiver to the roster who desperately needs help.
