While Hadden doesn’t have the same skill set as L’Jarius Sneed, he is built extremely similarly to the former Chiefs corner.
Hadden will get a chance to get the same coaching that Sneed had in Kansas City, and I’m not saying he can turn into Sneed, but the similarities in size and speed are uncanny. He will also join a Chiefs roster that doesn’t need him to start immediately, though he could challenge for a starting job.
The Contract
The entire cost of the contract for the 211th pick of the draft is less than $4.2 million over the life of the deal. Hadden will receive a signing bonus of around $140K, which will be prorated over the contract's life to about $35K a year. His salary for the next four years will be $795K, $960K, $1.075 million, and $1.19 million. His salary cap numbers for the life of the contract will be around $830K, $995K, $1.11 million, and $1.225 million.
