Chiefs Defense Steps Up - Move to 6-0

The Chiefs defense stepped up and put a damper on any chance the 49ers had to make a game of it.

Kansas City’s defense stepped up and got multiple turnovers in a game where the offense still couldn’t get out of its own way.

Kareem Hunt

Hunt had 22 carries for 78 yards, but his biggest production was two rushing touchdowns. Hunt has stepped up since returning to the Chiefs and looks to be an amazing addition this season. They will need to continue to get more from him and maybe add another.

Patrick Mahomes

Two interceptions may make it seem like Mahomes doesn’t deserve to get a game ball, but Patrick made plays when needed. His big run on second down led to the big go-ahead TD that put the Chiefs ahead for good. Not only did he make plays on third down as well, but he absolutely leveled the 49ers safety on the goal line on fourth down.
