Chiefs Beat Dolphins in Frankfurt - Game Balls
The Chiefs defense had a game from the first snap on the field and the offense did just enough.
There are a lot of game balls that could go to the defense for their performance against the Dolphins. The defense came to play and held the vaunted Dolphins offense to 0 points in the first half. It was the first time they’d been held scoreless with Mike McDaniel as their head coach and it hadn’t happened since 2021. The Chiefs held Tyreek Hill to only 62 yards on the day and didn’t allow him a TD.
Trent McDuffie
McDuffie is one of the best defenders the Chiefs have. His strip of Hill was a great play just to cause the fumble, but his football intelligence is what let him get a chance to force the fumble to begin with. Trent read the play immediately and didn’t give the TE a chance to reach him on the block. He led the team in tackles and was sticky in coverage the entire game.
